Hassan is the President of ADAPTR, a company providing grid integration and energy management solutions to help deploy renewables into the evolving electricity grid. He is active in multiple areas of ADAPTR's business including, product development, business development, commercial negotiations as well as co-inventor of ADAPTR's grid transition technologies.
Prior to founding ADAPTR, Hassan served as the commercial lead for 500MW of wind turbine supply contracts for ENERCON, a global wind turbine manufacturer, where he helped stakeholders overcome technical and commercial challenges and realize the buildout of windfarms across Canada.
Alongside his role at ADAPTR, Hassan is the President of WindShare, a co-operative which owns the first urban wind turbine in North America, located at Exhibition Place in downtown Toronto, where he led the transactions and transition of the project into its second life, ensuring its continuity as the most visible renewable energy project in Canada.
Hassan has an engineering background. He graduated from McGill University with a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
