    Sol Hutson is the Head of Canada and Senior Vice President of Global Business Development at Nextracker. He also oversees the company’s newly expanded tracker foundations systems business, driving innovative solutions that deliver value to customers. With a strong background in international business and corporate development, engineering and deep understanding of the solar and renewables space, Sol is responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives for the company including establishing Nextracker’s presence in Canada where he is currently based. Having lived and worked professionally across multi-cultural, global markets such as Mexico, Brazil, Europe, USA, Canada, Asia, Australia and Israel, Sol brings unique perspective executing on business plans across varying market dynamics. Prior to joining Nextracker, Sol served a variety of executive leadership roles for Flex, including general manager for Flex Lighting Solutions, vice president strategy and marketing and senior director of corporate development for Flex Industrial and Flex Energy Solutions. Sol holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Victoria, B.C.
