Alvin Au Duong is a Senior Data Analyst working in the Network Optimization and Design team under the Transformation, Innovation and Engineering Division of the Meteorological Service of Canada, a branch of Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC). Alvin and his team are responsible for coordinating the assessment of new wind farm project proposals and their potential impacts to ECCC's critical weather radars, as well as providing GIS and data analytics capabilities to enhance the observation networks.
Prior to joining the Network Optimization and Design team, Alvin worked as a Planner for the Canadian Weather Radar Replacement Project where he collaborated with various stakeholders to ensure the successful upgrade of weather radars across Canada.
