Katherine is a Senior Technical Specialist in Ausenco’s Human Environment Team, and she is based in Calgary, Alberta. Katherine has over 25 years of consulting experience. Working as part of large multi-disciplinary teams, she has supported and participated in many major environmental and social impact assessment applications through supporting Application Information Requirements including project scoping and selection of valued components, stakeholder and First Nations engagement, Indigenous Knowledge and traditional use studies, analysis for potential project effects, and supporting permitting applications.
Her project experience spans a variety of sectors including transportation, mining, electrical transmission projects, and oil and gas.
Katherine has worked with public and private sector clients at the municipal, provincial and federal levels. She has extensive experience working with Indigenous groups located in Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick leading Indigenous Knowledge Studies and engagement for numerous large scale projects.
