Biologist with over 28 years of experience both in environmental consulting and environmental management mainly in Canada, Brazil and other countries. As a senior environmental manager, she identifies and addresses the needs and constraints the projects may have in relation to environmental and social issues and regulation throughout all project phases. She has extensive experience with a wide variety of projects from different sectors: Energy (renewable generation – solar, wind, hydro; thermal power plants, transmission lines, and oil and gas), Industry, Mining and Transportation. She has conducted environmental studies and processes such as: Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Cumulative Impact Assessments (CEA), Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA), Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD), environmental audits and compliance assessments, environmental and social management plans, permitting, and project planning and execution. She is also an environmental impact assessment specialist, developing appropriate methodological procedures and leading multidisciplinary teams in the completion of the associated reports. She is effective in project management, Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and international environmental and social requirements frameworks analysis and compliance assessments. She has great ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, government and regulatory agencies and other stakeholder groups.
